Pizazz It! Updates
Hello to all the members of our extended Pizazz It! family! It’s been awhile and we sure miss you all! We hope that everyone is well and still scrappin’ along. We thought we’d send out a little update to not only let you know what we’re up to but also what plans are in store for Pizazz It! It will be a long one but we hope you won’t mind since it’s been awhile.
Let’s start with the business end.
Some of you may remember that we talked about opening up an online store at our same web address. We’ve been doing some planning and right now the goal is to open the online store for 2012. It won’t be a full store because we still want you to visit your local scrapbook stores to pick up supplies and check out the newest paper collections but we will be featuring one of our own best known product lines – Our diecuts. For the most part, we’ll only be selling our own products in various forms such as diecuts, kits, and a few other products that we’re in the process of working out right now. And yes, we will be taking custom orders since that was so often requested. We hope that you’ll come and shop with us again but this time it will be online! We’ll keep you updated on the progress.
Now for the personal updates: (click links for expanded details)
Sue, of course, is enjoying her retirement. She’s been traveling, spending time with family and has now even found time for scrapping! She attends classes/crops at the local scrapbook stores so that not only can she get some scrapping done but she can visit with former customers as well.
Ashley and Tiffany have been busy bloggers. Ashley was recently featured as a guest designer on the Making Memories blog and is now designing the Kit of the Month Club for Scrap Happy in Tiffin, OH. Tiffany is continuing in school towards a degree in Graphic Design and has also been blogging. Find them and their scrapbooking projects at (Ashley)rockpaperscrapbook.blogspot.com and (Tiffany) iammydesign.com. Be sure to bookmark these so you can find them later!
Rebecca and Karla are teaching classes at Scrapbook Art. Rebecca is continuing her yearly album class for 2011 and will soon be taking signups for 2012. Fans of her old class, Pizazz It! Pages, can now find her similar class, Rebecca’s Pages, at Scrapbook Art. Karla is teaching her popular Christmas card series there and will finish the last class later this month. Teaching plans after November are unknown as Karla will be deciding soon if she will continue teaching. Call Scrapbook Art to sign up for either of their classes or go to their website to see the full calendar!
Bonnie and Karrie are hosting the annual Toll Gate crop this Saturday, November 5th. Fans of our old scrapbook garage sales will be happy to find they are also having a garage sale from 10am-12pm on the same day. There is a $2 entrance fee is you’re not a cropper. There is still room in the crop if you would like to sign up but if not then check out the garage sale. You’ll see plenty of familiar faces including Sue, Ashley, Bonnie, Karrie and a number of our customers who were faithful croppers. Email Karen at karen_guse@plsd.us if you would like to get info/sign up for the crop or to sell in the garage sale this weekend.
Doris has become a full blown Buckeye! Not only has she now begun working full time for Ohio State but her daughter began attending college there this quarter. Go Bucks!
That about wraps this update up. Sorry for the jam packed info but we just miss you all so much and wanted to let you know what we’re all up to. Please feel free to respond back with personal updates as well. We miss seeing so many familiar faces walking through our doors and keeping up to date with all the news and happenings of you all. We hope to hear from you soon and be on the lookout for updates on the status of the online store!
Additional notes: A new scrapbook store, Legacy Paper Arts, has opened in recently in Powell. You’ll definitely want to check out the store and say hello to Joyce, the owner, who is just as sweet as can be. Check out Ashley’s blog review of their store here.
